Stockton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Stockton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Fresh tasting. Falafel pita sandwich was amazing. The falafel was so yummy, with lots of fresh veggies and tasty sauce, in a very nice pita. Others in the group enjoyed their gyro plates, bowl and burger. Staff was nice. Would come back and recommend. Only negative, they don't offer free tap water.

A week late, but I had the pleasure of visiting Yaya’s for a lunch service. Best parts about Yaya’s: -the food. I had a mango beverage and chicken souvlaki. Some of my peers tried their gyro combo, which was also enjoyable. -location. It’s nice to have a fresh spot in case you are in the area or are on your way to see a movie! Cons- Service. Was a little slow, as my group had to wait about 30-35 minutes. I have confidence that this can be fixed in time since it’s not been long since opening. Can’t wait to try their food again!

Outstanding Kebabs and Warm Hospitality! We recently visited Yaya's in Stockton and were very impressed. It's a wonderful addition to the local dining scene, offering a delicious mix of Greek and Arabic cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The standout for us was the kebabs—perfectly seasoned, incredibly juicy, and cooked just right. Every bite was flavorful and tender. The freshness of the ingredients really comes through, and you can tell care is taken with the preparation. The restaurant itself is lovely, clean, and inviting, making it a great place for a family meal, lunch with friends, or a casual dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. If you're looking for authentic Mediterranean flavors in Stockton, Yaya's is definitely worth a visit. We'll certainly be back for those outstanding kebabs. NOTE: The roast beef, chicken and lamb are halal. The bacon, ham and pastrami are prepared separately and are not, obviously.
